Painless Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese art of healing which consists of inserting very fine, sterile and disposable needles into the skin at precise acupuncture points. It is used to regulate the meridians or channels of the body which unblocks the stagnation of “Qi”(energy).

Cupping

Cupping therapy has been in practice since ancient times. To the ordinary person, it is a relatively new type of therapy. Here, the therapist uses cups to create a vacuum on the patient’s skin to dispel stagnation. Nowadays, cupping is gaining popularity because it is effective in treating many types of diseases. These include bronchitis, colds, migraines and many more,and as a type of deep-tissue massage. Of late, people even use it to remove wrinkles and to smooth the texture of the skin.

Moxibustion

With this technique, to facilitate healing, the small, spongy mugwort herb is burned on the end of an acupuncture needle inserted in the body. Moxibustion aims to stimulate the flow of qi (vital body energy), strengthen the blood and generally maintain good health and wellbeing.
